Personal Connection: None. Karen is a well-known artist with connections to Chicago. I was awaiting another piece in this auction and this came up with no bidders, so I got it with the low bid, always fun. I used Facebook Messenger to ask her what the meaning or background was for this piece, but unfortunately never got a response.
