None. While I enjoy photography, I’ve never really considered adding it to my collection. However, Aaron Siskind’s piece “Chicago 1957” really spoke to me – it has a very painterly quality, in my opinion. Siskind’s work was suggested as somehow connected to Chicago art, though the only connection I could find was that he was on the faculty of the IIT Institute of Design in Chicago. So, when this print entitled “Chicago, 1957” came up for auction, I bought it at a reasonable price.
